MacBook Air
The MacBook air – it’s that awesome-looking laptop from Apple. I would like to tell you a little bit about it:
1. Design – the MacBook air is personally my favorite laptop out there (as for the look). It’s very thin, light and beautiful. The keyboard is GREAT – by far my favorite keyboard as for laptops. The MacBook Air is very, very quiet yet doesn’t heat up at all. 10/10
2. Performance – Performance will depend on which MacBook Air you get, but mine is really good. It’s fast, starts-up in a matter of seconds, all programs work without any lag. The RAM is good aswell. Although as for the price, it could’ve been a little better. 9/10
3. Graphics – Like any Mac, the graphics of MacBook air are absolutely awesome.
It’s a pleasure looking at the screen. As for gaming, you will not experience this kind of graphics quality in any other computer. 10/10
4. Price – the price… oh well, you probably know that Macs aren’t cheap computers. Even thoe the price tag is quite high, it does live up to it. I give it a 10/10 as for price.
All in all – the MacBook Air is a GREAT laptop. It’s performance is good, graphics are awesome, design is very “cool” and it just feels like a solid laptop. If you can, get it. :-)

Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) could be the highly anticipated upcoming massively multi-player activity (MMOG) from Bioware and LucasArts. With this game, using the extremely popular Star Wars license, players make a choice from good and evil by improving the virtuous Old Republic or perhaps the Dark Sith Lords.
The principle objective in SWTOR is perfect for players to progressively obtain strength and experience as their characters reach higher levels. Currently, the sport does not contain skill-oriented leveling up. However, it specializes in experience-based leveling where characters gain experience depending on playing frequency (much like any other MMO). SWTOR includes several gameplay elements that increase strength, one of them is the innovative Crew System. With the aid of the Crew System, characters have versatility since they can function as crafters or gatherers, filling specialized roles in the primary player characters toolset.
One major aspect that make a game like SWTOR (or indeed any MMO) challenging it’s time one needs to spend money on creating or earning enough currency to acquire useful weaponry and armor. Players have the ability to craft or forge their weapons and armor by using different crafting skills. This ability lets players create weapons utilized to make stronger items as their skills increase. The key to creating weaponry is always to gather those things needed for each weapon through the entire game. Weapons are created after all the specified items are collected.
Gathering items sounds simple, but it is tricky! Gathering requires time, and energy, sometimes called grinding which takes away most of the fun of playing the game. Instead, use SWTOR Credits to reap the benefits of gathering without resorting to tedious and monotonous grinding. Players purchase a copy credits to buy items needed for weaponry and trading versus gathering them.
As gathering skills increase, to be able to spot materials increases, reducing the time required to collect items. If more items than needed are collected, players have the option to sell them in the market or auction house for SWTOR credits. Players find SWTOR gold useful if they want to live up to the games challenges along with have the luxury of spending a significant amount of time in the overall game.
If you enjoy spending never ending hours leveling up your gathering skills and searching for items, have fun playing the traditional way. However, in case you prefer spending some time by doing action oriented gameplay and quickly crafting weaponry and armor to defeat your enemies, consider using SWTOR credits for an exciting gaming experience.

Seattle Sounders Season Starts With a Bang

The Seattle Sounders Football Club (FC) is Major League Soccer’s 15th team. The team touts “Democracy in Sports.” Fans voted on the team name and each season ticket holder has a say in the direction of the franchise, including the future of the team’s General Manager. Actor/comedian Drew Carey and movie producer Joe Roth, the former head of Disney and Fox Studios, are both part owners of the team. The Sounders FC have sold more season tickets than any other team in MLS’s 13-year history. The team is also the only MLS franchise to have its own marching band.
The XBOX Pitch at Qwest Field is the official home of the Seattle Sounders FC. The stadium has a seating capacity of 27,700 for MLS games, with a roof covering 70 percent of the seating area, and features seating close to the field. Qwest Field is also the home field of NFL’s Seattle Seahawks.
The 2009 season standouts include forwards Fredy Montero and Nate Jaqua as well as midfielder Steve Zakuani. Colombian-born Montero, who was signed on loan by the Sounders FC, scored 12 goals and had seven assists during the 2009 season. Jaqua had nine goals and seven assists in 2009. Jaqua joined the Sounders FC in 2008 when he was selected from Houston in the Expansion Draft. Jacqua played for Houston (MLS, 2008), Rheindorf Altach (Austria, 2007-08), Houston (MLS, 2007), Los Angeles (MLS, 2007), Chicago (MLS, 2003-06). He is the top MLS career scorer for the Founders FC, with 32 goals and 17 assists in 6 regular seasons.
The 2009 rookie Zakuani ended the season with four goals and four assists. Zakuani, whose hometown is London, England, was selected by the Sounders FC with the first overall pick in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft. Highlights of Zakuani’s career include leading NCAA Division I in scoring with 20 goals in 2008, Soccer America 2008 Player of the Year, and Hermann Award finalist.
The Sounders FC kicked off their pre-season schedule on February 11 with a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps. They went on to lose to Rosenburg BC by a score of 0-3. A 2-1 win against Spain’s Stabaek IF followed on February 21. On February 25, the Sounders FC landed another win by a score of 1-0 against SK Brann. Their second matchup with the Vancouver Whitecaps on March 6 ended in a 0-0 tie. The Sounders FC round out their pre-season games with matchups against the Portland Timbers on March 11 and the Colorado Rapids on March 19.
The team’s regular season begins on March 25 with a home game against the newly formed Philadelphia Union. This is sure to be an exciting game. The Columbus Crew travel to Seattle to play the Sounders FC on May 1 and the LA Galaxy come to town on May 8. D.C. United plays the Sounders FC at Qwest Field on June 10 and then the Sounders FC travels to the east coast for a second matchup with D.C. on July 15. The Sounders FC ends their 2010 season on October 23 with an away game against the Houston Dynamo. Purchase your tickets now, because they are sure to go quickly!

How to Put in a Disc Brake Conversion Kit

In a big way, disc brake conversions are a by product of the large, open area wheel trend that has arisen in the last decade. Style-conscious builders have noticed that large wheels expose everything behind them, including ugly old drum brakes.
Step 1
Raise the vehicle into the air with either a chassis lift or a floor jack. Do not engage the parking brake.
Step 2
Remove hub caps (if equipped) and lug nuts. Remove tires to access brakes. If using a chassis lift, all tires can be removed prior to conversion.
Step 3
Remove drum brake. Tap the drum on opposite sides of the rim simultaneously to ensure the drum comes straight off without hanging up on the wheel studs. Spray the wheel studs at the base with penetrating oil and allow to sit if necessary. Keep tapping gently around the perimeter of the drum until it can be worked loose by hand.
Step 4
Remove the entire interior brake assembly. Generally, the brake assembly will unbolt from the back with either three or four bolts. Some vehicles will require new axle shafts and/or some welding or fabrication to the axle itself. Consult your kit manufacturer for details before purchasing.
Step 5
Install new brake caliper mounting bracket as per kit instructions. The new brackets will generally utilize the pre-existing brake assembly mounting holes. Use Blue Loctite to secure bolts to axle housing.
Step 6
Pack new wheel bearings with grease using the palm of your hand, making sure to get the seals as well. Some kits include bearings and some do not; check to see if yours comes with a new set before beginning.
Step 7
Place new inner wheel bearing into the back (flat part) of the disc, with the conical side facing in. Tap around the perimeter of the bearing with a rubber mallet until the bearing seats in the disc.
Step 8
Grease spindle (axle) and carefully slide rotor and bearing assembly onto spindle.
Step 9
Slide outer wheel bearing over the spindle and into the recess in the rotor.
Step 10
Tighten the washer and retaining nut onto the spindle to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Step 11
Install any spacers and sliders included with the brake caliper per manufacturer’s specifications.
Step 12
Drop the new brake caliper (with pads installed) over the disc so that it lines up with the new mounting bracket holes.
Step 13
Install bolts into caliper assembly from the front, after greasing the bolt shafts all along the smooth portion. Torque to manufacturer’s specs.
Step 14
Attach brake line to caliper using supplied adapter or new lines. Route lines along factory mounting points, and secure on either end with specialized line wrenches. Do not use a standard wrench, especially when using anodized fittings.
Step 15
Bleed the air out of the brake system after each wheel. After the system is installed, bleed the entire system starting from the first drum replaced and working toward the last.

Tips
Bigger isn’t always better. In some cases, larger brakes can actually provide less stopping power than a smaller, vented rotor due to their increased rotational inertia and lower operating temperatures.
Warnings
Cars that have rear drum brakes have a proportioning valve built into the system that biases fluid pressure to optimize the original design. A new adjustable proportioning valve is suggested for most applications so that the rear brakes receive the proper amount of fluid pressure.

Travel Cost Sinkhole

You won the contract, and it looks great… until you realize travel costs are going to eat you alive. It really hurts if you’re a small business, and it’s worse when times are hard and margins are thin.
So don’t let it happen to you. Make sure you and your client agree beforehand, formally, about such details as:
Will travel expenses be direct billed to the client, or must you submit them on invoices for later reimbursement by your client? Direct billing to the client is great for you. It nearly eliminates your financial risk on travel costs because you have hardly any travel cost to absorb for a billing cycle. Smart clients make it work to their benefit, too. I have seen a client do it to maximize their discounts as a high volume source of travel business.
What counts as travel time? Will it be billed only as actual time at a client site, or portal-to-portal? “Portal-to-portal” means billing begins when the worker departs to go to a client site and ends when the worker returns.
Is time spent traveling billable at the regular rate or a reduced rate? Is it subject to a daily ceiling?
Will you drive your own car, how will the cost of using your car be reimbursed? Or must you drive a rental car? In either case, is any special insurance required, and if so who pays for it?
Will you make your own travel arrangements, or does the client want you to use their favorite agency and discount programs?
Will air travel be first class, business class or coach? Does this apply to long international flights too? Does it apply to train travel? If your client demands that you use discount tickets, who picks up extra costs for any necessary changes that cause financial penalties?
Will lodging and meal expenses be on a reimbursement basis, or a per diem basis? Per diem is easier in terms of paperwork, but may not be feasible in some countries.
Who pays and arranges for special requirements such as visas, vaccinations, traveler’s medical kit, and insurance that is valid in a foreign country? One company sent a consultant and his family abroad for a six month assignment. He assumed his client was arranging visas. The client didn’t. His entire family found itself in Immigration Hell. Remarks: Health insurance is not the only kind to consider. For example, in some regions, kidnap insurance is recommended.
For foreign travel, must you hold reimbursement requests until a credit card bill arrives, or is a standard formula used to estimate reimbursement based on currency conversion from receipts? If the latter, which currency exchange rate table will be applied? Remarks: For a fixed price contract, either stipulate that the price is in the currency you prefer, or make provisions to cope with a rapid fall in the exchange rate for your currency. One of my clients recently paid another vendor about 28% extra for a fixed price job because this was missing from their contract.
Can the client terminate your contract while you are in the middle of travel to perform it? If so, who is responsible for your travel costs to return home? While abroad on business, my login accounts for that contract suddenly terminated. I belatedly realized nothing in my contract would make the client pay my way home if my contract was severed in mid-trip. Fortunately, a manager had only forgotten to file a routine renewal form.
Spell out the details up front to save your profit margin–and as a bonus, your relationship with the client will be smoother because you have done away with a potential source of friction.
